ZOOM – Kids on the Move! (for Climate Action) – collect green miles for the climate

Climate Alliance invites the children of Europe to participate in its green miles campaign with their municipality. Daily journeys are made in a fun, active way and green footprints collected for a Climate Voyage around the One World. At the end of the year, the green footprints collected are presented to participants in the annual UN Climate Conference to show the “big ones” how the “little ones” are already being proactive rather than simply discussing: they are implementing practical climate protection measures in their lives!

The campaign is the ideal complement to municipalities’ CITY CYCLING activities.

2026 ADFC-Fahrradklima-Test – cycling satisfaction survey

What’s it like to cycle in your local area? From 1 September until 30 November 2026, all inhabitants of Germany have the opportunity to participate in the ADFC’s cycling satisfaction survey. The “ADFC-Fahrradklima-Test” as it is officially known comprises a total of 32 questions that ask cyclists about their experiences: Do they find cycling fun or stressful in their local area? Are cycling paths blocked by parked cars? Is cycling also safe for families? This survey provides towns, cities and municipalities with important feedback on the local cycling conditions and where infrastructure may need improvement.

The survey is open to all cyclists – whether they cycle regularly or only occasionally – and is the world’s largest study on cycling satisfaction. It is financed by the German Federal Ministry of Transport.
