This year, the award ceremony to honour the winning municipalities from this year’s campaign was held in Saarbrücken on 30 November. Prizes were conferred in the two categories of the “Most active local parliaments” and the “Most active municipalities with the most kilometres cycled” in a total of five population groups, with the best newcomers honoured in each. The event was hosted in cooperation with the Saarland Ministry of the Environment, Climate, Mobility, Agriculture and Consumer Protection and the state capital of Saarbrücken.
