This year, the award ceremony to honour the winning municipalities from this year’s campaign was held in Cologne on 12 December. Prizes were conferred in the two categories of the “Most active local parliaments” and the “Most active municipalities with the most kilometres cycled” in a total of five population groups, with the best newcomers honoured in each. The event was hosted in cooperation with the City of Cologne and the Zukunftsnetz Mobilität NRW..
